I witnessed our first sibling parallel play today.
Jackson has been waiting and waiting to play with baby sister since she was in my belly and today he figured out how he can finally do it. I was setting up the underwater floor gym and he wanted to help and did! Then he declared, "I'll go get the other one!!" dragged in into the room and said "I'll put it WIGHT NEXT to de udder one!!" Once we got sister playing, he climbed into my lap for a minute and mimicked her, then squirmed out and onto the other mat. Boom.
